Rotating residential assigns a fresh IP per request or per session, ideal for SERP scraping, price intelligence and any workload that benefits from a different identity each time. For repeat workloads against the same handful of targets, static residential typically pays for itself within a week compared to rotating bandwidth.
What we tested
Every provider in our 2026 ranking went through the same five-test gauntlet against real targets: a 1,000-request Cloudflare-Turnstile sample, a 1,000-request DataDome marketplace sample, a SERP scrape of three suburb-level ZIPs, a Shopify checkout simulation, and a 24-hour stability test pushing 200 concurrent connections. We logged success rate, median latency, P95 latency, captcha rate and the percentage of "fresh" (never-seen) IPs returned over the test window.
